The-N Gets A New Name

Surprisingly, the TV Channel/Network, The-N, known for specifically teenage shows and programs is changing its name to TeenNick and having the host Nick Cannon.

While the-n.com is still up and running as The-N, as soon as September 28th comes, I am almost certain that this will change, and The-N will be a name of the past.

Personally, I DO NOT like the name change; I mean if you're going to make the effort of changing a name, at least make it something appealing. Especially if the audience is mostly High School Students and older. "Teen Nick" makes it seem like this channel is appropriate for younger kids that just cannot wait to be older. Shows like Degrassi, with real issues may not be appropriate for younger kids because of all the drama. While this really isn't my decision, I feel that The-N is making a big mistake in changing their well-known name to something that seems childish. In the end, I think regular viewers will still watch the channel if it still has the same classic The-N shows. If not, then The-N (the new TeenNick) will lose a lot of viewers, or experience a new, younger audience.

A Mobile Post

Hey. I just downloaded this blogging app for my iPod Touch 1G and wanted to test it out. It seems pretty good, but a review will probably be out next post. I'll keep you updated as far as how well BlogWriter (Lite) works and if it's worth using. While you can't actually see the layout of the blog, I'd imagine that the posts just get dropped in the traditional layout of the blog page...
